One key aspect about Parc Canberra - "Canberra" is the capital city of Australia and this connection implies a Australian connection. The area in Canberra used to be a base for Australian allied soldiers.

On top of that, the development itself has heavy Australian influences - the image above depicts the clubhouse called "The Barn", which is reminiscent of the barns in Australia used to rear livestock.

Parc Canberra Actual Location

Parc Canberra's actual location is a mere 350 walk away from the nearest MRT station, Canberra MRT which opened on November 2019.

It talks about 4 minutes to walk from Canberra Station to Parc Canberra.

This is its main attraction - it is the first EC to be located in such close walking distance to an MRT station.

Although Canberra area is still developing, there are many amenities at the nearby Sembawang and the mega mall at Yishun,  Northpoint City.

This is a 21.5km integrated transport corridor that will be Singapore's next expressway, with provisions for an underground expressway, above ground dedicated bus lanes and cycling lanes.

This will link residents in Woodlands, Sembawang, Canberra, Yishun, Bishan, Toa Payoh and Ang Mo Kio to town area, reduce travelling time by up to 30 minutes. The entrance to the North South corridor is only a short drive away from Parc Canberra.

There is one thing that Sembawang is famous for - the hot spring! Residents at Parc Canberra can enjoy the great outdoors with Sembawang Hot Spring Park, Sembawang Park and also Sembawang Beach all within 5-10 minutes drive in the area.

Parc Canberra: In Summary

The key attraction behind Parc Canberra remains as it's unparalleled proximity to an MRT station. So far the other ECs launched in Singapore have not been able to lay claim to this.

The development lies in a tranquil, up and coming area that has potential for more growth. Along with Bukit Canberra which is just at the doorstep, this is one development suited for families to spend quality time together.
